Train travel

Please book train travel in Switzerland conveniently via SBB Business Travel or SBB Mobile for business customers respectively.

When using subscriptions as GA or Halbtax, be aware of Art. 12 of the regulations about expenses.
Costs for journeys with the GA may continue to be charged via the expense process.

Your advantages:

• Bi-monthly billing directly to the university eliminates the need to process expense forms.
• You will receive a business customer discount on your tickets in addition to any existing reductions (half-fare, etc.).

For this, each institution/office must be registered on the business customer portal. Invoices can be set up with separate cost allocation (cost centers) for the different credit accounts (business or third-party credit accounts). Please refer to the corresponding leaflet.

A registration form (see below) is needed to open a customer account for the institution. If you’re interested in setting up a new office for invoicing purposes, please contact this e-mail address directly: systeme.fin@unibe.ch.

For international train tickets and reservations, please contact the Customer Support team of Lehmann Reisen AG. They will be happy to help you with your request and provide you with several different travel options. That means you’ll receive a list of all connections at the best prices from a single source.

Important information: When booking international train travel, Lehmann Reisen takes the offers of the national railway companies into consideration and will be happy to provide you with several different ticket options.
